Funny thing is, 97% of American men believe they are good in bed...but only about 95% of their girlfriends agree.
So, that's 60% vs 95%. Doh.
And as far as the stats:
The Chinese Health and Family Life Survey targeted 5,000 people across China for in-depth interviews about their personal lives, including questions about their sex lives, income and other factors. Among these were 1,534 women with male partners whose data was the basis for the study.
They found that 121 (8%) of these women always had orgasms during sex, while 408 (27%) more had them “often”. Another 762 (50%) “sometimes” orgasmed while 243 (16%) had them rarely or never. Such figures are similar to those for western countries.
Now, compare that to the US where:
50 to 75% of women who have orgasms...are unable to have an orgasm through intercourse alone.
33 to 50% of women experience orgasm infrequently and are dissatisfied with how often they reach orgasm.
10 to 15% of American women have never experienced an orgasm.
Only 35% of the female population will orgasm during intercourse.
BTW, let's not forget that your ABC American poll was a live telphone survey - where women are more likely to brag a bit to "save face." So, the real results are probably even more pathetic than self-reported. :/
